Insiris Launches Lone Worker App for Android

Insiris, leading provider of Lone Worker software solutions, is excited to announce the launch of its Lone Worker app for Android Smartphones and Tablets.

Safeguard for Android is the first App in the UK to be fully compliant with BS8484, the British Standard governing requirements of Lone Worker Solutions Providers.  Sporting an elegant and easy to use interface, Safeguard for Android incorporates the latest features in Smartphone based lone worker protection.  

Safeguard for Android provides the core features of Insiris' Lone Worker Product range including the ability to raise a Red Alert even when a keylock is deployed,  issue Amber Alerts and Amber Alert Timers and perform Location Tracking.

Speaking about the launch, Matthew Summers, Managing Director, explains "Safeguard for Android is also the first Android App to incorporate Man Down functionality.  This allows the app to determine whether a lone worker has encountered a slip, trip or fall and automatically enter a pre-alert phase where the phone vibrates to notify the user.  If the user doesn't move or cancel the pre-alert, the Man Down will be escalated to a Red Alert.  This is another example of our commitment to providing the very latest innovations in Lone Working to our Smartphone users".
